Power, Passion and Possibilities: Integrating the Arts in the Early Years

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Presenters will take you on an experiential journey sharing tried, tested, and true lessons that develop music, dance and drama concepts while making authentic interdisciplinary connections.
The lessons shared are creations as a part of an interdisciplinary arts project that presenters are sharing with their teachers and students at Victoria School for the Arts. These lessons are examples of ways to meaningfully integrate the Arts, Literacy, and Science while maintaining the integrity and the substance of each of these disciplines. Lesson participants will take part in a grade  1 and a grade 2 lesson example and are encouraged to use this interdisciplinary concept-based model to bring arts into their early childhood classes.
